Amidst the outbreak of the corona virus, I, like many artists, find myself without work and income.
This month alone I'm losing roughly 800 euros in fees due to cancelled shows.
This is my attempt to limit the damage.
This EP consists of three tracks that I originally wanted to realease as a 7" record a year ago, but then the production of my last album "Heaven" took control of all of my time and energy, and eventually I forgot about this project.
The other two tracks are brand new, specifically produced for this EP.
Intro, Here Comes an Angel, and Stone Clouds were made from material that I've played live excessively in 2016-2018.
Death Chants 1 and 2 are experiments with chopped R'n'B vocals and hint at what kind of sound can be expected from me in the near future.
Death Chants mirrors the feeling of confusion, frustration, fear, and worry. Many people are going to die, some of which might be our parents, grandparents, or friends.
It was produced in complete isolation in March 2020.
Thanks for listening, and possibly also for purchasing. These are weird times. Stay strong, I guess.
